Course Description

Do you worry that you and your child will not be ready for the new school year?

Don’t worry. This course is for you! Over the many years of helping students find success with learning, parents have asked us what they can do to help prepare their children for a successful academic school year. To help as many families as possible, we decided to put the information together in this course to make it easily accessible for parents.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course was created for parents of school aged children. We know as kids go through elementary, middle and high school, their needs and demands can change. The advice, exercises and discussions in this course have been curated over many years of working in education. The points covered have been found to be helpful to the vast majority of students and parents.

  • DOES THIS COURSE REQUIRE ME TO ORDER EXTRA MATERIALS? ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES?

No. This course is completely self contained. There are no additional fees. You may want paper and something to write with as a parent may find one (or more) of our lessons particularly helpful and wish to take notes because the lesson addresses something they have been struggling with. In addition to the course being self contained, there are documents, checklists and activities provided which help parents to implement the various points brought up in the lessons.

  • WHAT IF I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW TO HELP MY CHILD WITH HOMEWORK? DOES THIS COURSE HELP WITH THAT?

This course does not teach parents how to do the academic work that students are taught in grades K-12, but it does explain how to help a child with homework - even if you do not know the subject. This course addresses more foundational academic issues: how to ensure your child has the correct mindset for successfully learning in school and how to prepare your home, schedule, etc. to help your child succeed.

  • WILL THIS COURSE HELP ME GET ORGANIZED? AS A PARENT, I FEEL LIKE I AM ALWAYS SCRAMBLING RIGHT BEFORE THE SCHOOL YEAR STARTS. WITH MY OWN WORK AND TAKING CARE OF THE KIDS, I JUST DON’T HAVE ENOUGH TIME.

YES! And you are right, there is a lot to do when you are faced with the beginning of a new school year - especially if you have more than one child. This course helps a parent prioritize correctly and know where their focus should be placed in order to ensure their children can make the most of the new school year.

  • DO I HAVE TO DO ALL THE LESSONS AT ONCE?

No. This course is designed to be done by any busy parent. It is self paced and not timed. You can take as little or as much time as needed to reap the full benefits of the information. You can end off at any point and later pick it back up from that point to continue.

  • HOW LONG WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THIS COURSE AFTER PURCHASE?

The course and all of its contents, documents, etc. will be available for one full year after initial purchase.
